This pickup has the old school rugged design that looks like it wants teach modern pickups a bare-knuckles lesson. It also helps highlight the big white grille whose chunky, industrial appearance seems indestructible. Plus, the two-piece wheels, chrome bumpers, and the small accents on the hood add a dash of flash. Inside is a cab built for long-lasting function. There's plenty of dashboard space, thanks to an uncluttered feel that only has to make room for the ornamental am radio (a luxury item in '50s pickups!) muddy work boots are not a problem because the rubber floor mat means this cleanup is as simple as a garden hose. Despite this utilitarian feel, there have been a couple of nice upgrades, such as the floor shifter and auxiliary gauge package. These are just special hints at the enhancements in the engine bay. Under the hood is a big upgrade in blue oval power. Ford's famous 302 cubic-inch v8 looks right at home under the hood. This is a truck that looks great and cruises even better. Showmanship it's often the defining line between a good classic and a great one... And this 1951 ford custom deluxe coupe definitely knows it. With its gleaming modern red paint, custom interior, and flathead v8, it's the perfect mix of original and upgraded that always draws in a crowd. Everyone loves the sleek look of ford's first post-war design. It was fairly groundbreaking when it appeared, which is why it became the darling of the custom car crowds. And while others have gone as far as to drop them to the ground and add flame jobs, this one goes in a different direction. It draws all eyes on it thanks to the clearcoat shine of a modern red. And speaking of trim, everyone loves the full-length bright line that comes on the upper-level custom model. The custom bench seats look terrific with the pristine white vinyl with red inserts and red piping. And while this looks great, the true investment was making sure the carpeting, side panels, armrests, headliner, dash, and every detail matches this color scheme so well. The cool two-spoke steering wheel with bright trim is pure 1950s space-race cool. In fact, the whole dash stays true to the original, right down to the large speedometer with cool circular readout design. Under the hood is the unmistakable appearance of ford's iconic flathead v8. And just like the rest of the car, this has been upgraded for showmanship. The red elements like the firewall, wires, and engine block look like they are radiating power against the dark components. Plus, there have been some nice shining elements added like the master cylinder, air grabber, and the flathead's iconic dual bent tubes. This kind of quality classic gets all the right attention.

Purists might cringe at the mixed DNA on this radical 1951 Ford custom convertible, but this is truly the way they did it in the old school: if it was cool, there was a place for it on the car. As a result, it neatly blends shapes, trim, and designs from other makes and models, creating an extremely attractive custom that will attract attention simply because someone knew how to do it right. The side trim is from a 1959 Pontiac, the fender portholes are Buick, and the front bumper is a '55 Chevy piece Power Windows✔ Bucket Seats✔ AM/FM✔ CD Changer✔ Air Conditioning

Stk 2177 1951 ford tudor sedan ford introduced their post-war sedans in 1949. They were dubbed the 'shoebox' fords and were the most modern looking vehicle produced in the era. In 1951, ford introduced a new front-end with the 'dual spinner' grill that made the car appear much wider than previous models. Starting with a straight and solid body, the builder shaved the hood and trunk as was the custom in the '50s. A stunning coat of porsche yellow was applied and is nicely accented by period-correct chrome wheels, wide-white radials and 'baby moon' hubcaps. The interior has been nicely restored using high-quality black/yellow vinyl upholstery material with custom logo stitching. The classic dashboard looks much like it did in 1951, including the am radio - probably the factory piece. This sedan is powered by ford's 239ci flathead v8 rated at 100bhp. It was rebuilt in 2008 and is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with column shift. Everything under the hood looks original, but we cannot be absolutely sure that this is the factory motor. The electrical system has been upgraded to an alternator-based 12-volt setup. Autobarnclassiccars. Com for additional information. AM/FM✔ Chrome Wheels

This 1951 ford f-1 stands apart as a very creative way to showcase a clean rat rod custom. So beyond the mean matte black paint is a very thoughtful build with great small block power. That's why we know legends aren't born... The ford f-1 is arguably the best-looking post-war truck. While they all have a basic industrial attractiveness, this one is a cut-above because of its tasteful customizing. It starts with the aggressive lowered stance that is emphasized further by the tough matte black attitude. The aggressive red grille and diamond plating in the custom truck bed furthers this attitude. But even with the intimidation of a freight train, there's still room for shiny style. It's seen in everything from the ford v8 badge on the bumper, to the detailed slats on the hood. This is the kind of interior that really gets attention. After all piston parts for pedals, trophy cup for a cup holder, and a speed shop sign for a floorboard are all too cool not to have taken some time to create. This was also built to be a speed machine. This speedy attitude continues under the hood. The alloy air grabber and shiny valve covers give this 350 cubic-inch small block a nice look, but it still doesn't betray its tough as nails image. It exhales with authority as the headers feed the rumbling dual exhaust. So, this hot rod looks and sounds like it should, but despite its sinister attitude, it's quite nice on the road. The upgrade to an independent front suspension, th350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and modern performance tires makes this mean machine easy to enjoy on the open road. This 1951 ford f-1 is an awesome kind of custom pickup that takes its freight train commanding appearance and puts upgraded v8 power behind it. Cloth Interior
