Stk 2264 1970 dodger dart swinger rt the dodge division of chrysler motors produced hundreds of thousands of these darts, but never one like this. The following description is simply an overview of this stunning, fully restored 1970 dart swinger r/t resto-mod. There are so many technical engineering modifications to this car that it must be seen to be appreciated. That said, the donor car was a 1970 slant-six, automatic swinger 55,000 miles, garage kept. Virtually all of the sheet metal on the car is still original. It was prepped and repainted (2013) '70 hemi orange metallic with a logo hood and r/t graphics. The rear tail sections and the firewall were molded and the chassis was tied with frame connectors. A 5. 7l hemi engine was taken from a 2005 dodge (55k miles) along with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The electronics are controlled with a streetperformance wiring harness. Cooling is managed by a custom radiator/shroud and electric fans. An 8" ford rear holds a detroit truetrac differential with 3. 23:1 gearing. Power front disc brakes are from a chrysler new yorker and rears are drums. Power-assist steering is handled by the one-off custom 'rear steer' rack and pinion set-up designed and manufactured by flaming river industries, inc. Front and rear sway bars help track magnum 15" wheels that hold '60' series bf goodrich radial t/as. The interior is comfortable, but all business. A custom dash holds a full gauge package from speedhut. Vintage air handles cooling requirements and a sony am/fm/cd system provides sound. Front bucket seats were redone, a new headliner was added and new carpeting was installed. It is an investment that will not disappoint. Autobarnclassiccars. Com for additional information. 1970 dodge super bee - concord, ncstreetside classicsconcord, nc 28027ph: 8665428392web: www. Carsforsale. Com/used_cars_for_sale/dealerinventory. The 1970 dodge super bee is rare, fast, and has one of the most unique styles to come from detroit's days of street domination. The styling for 1970 was pretty unique for this one model year. The super-hot super bee packaged muscle cars had a seriously mean appearance with the wide dual grille that truly looked a bit like bumble bee wings. These separated grilles are particularly great on this muscle machine because they drive attention to the aggressive dual hood scoops. Straight bodywork is especially critical on mopar's iconic block b-body cars, because while these were the midsize offering, the stylists knew how to give them the look of unflinching full-size authority. These mopars had a long list of fun and funky paint options, and arguably none were better than this factory-correct plum crazy. But more than just the high impact color, this one has all the great details, such as the super bee white striping, matching white roof, mopar mag wheels with goodyear polyglas tires, and the super bee mascot properly placed all around the coupe. We love it when the exterior trim color is a preview of the interior color. It gives a car the kind of uniform feeling that will have plenty of people sticking their heads into this pillarless hardtop to get a closer look. When they do, they'll see a solid investment in getting this dodge looking right. The driver and passenger get high back vinyl bucket seats that are a nice reminder that the dodge coronet (basis for the super bee) was an all-day cruiser. The rest of the interior is fresh and clean, which makes it all feel like a 1970s time capsule. There's plenty of wood paneling on the center console and dash, and the factory three-spoke steering wheel is equal parts grippy, and artful. The 383 cubic-inch big block v8 does a good job of filling every inch of the very tidy engine bay. In fact, this v8 is believed to be the original motor, which always adds serious value to this mopars. Mopars are already some of the rarest muscle cars on the scene, and this coupe is one of the scarcest desirable dodges around. The paint says, look at me! So don't forget to call now! Bucket Seats

1970 dodge coronet - concord, ncstreetside classicsconcord, nc 28027ph: 8665428392web: www. Carsforsale. Com/used_cars_for_sale/dealerinventory. This cool 1970 dodge super bee re-creation wears it well, with a fantastic paint job, aggressive attitude, and that amazing 440 six-pack under the hood. But the sheetmetal is only half of the story. Burnt orange metallic was on dodge's color pallet in 1970, but it never looked this good from the factory. There has been an investment in a modern metallic paint, and a professional hand applying it. So, now all the subtle creases of the coronet's bodywork really pop when the sunlight hits this super-straight coupe. It also sports cool brightwork, like the unique chrome front bumpers that frame the grilles, as well as the super bee logo. Plus, hood pins are a must on a muscle machine like this. We even love the shine of the factory-style hubcaps, because they help highlight the black wheels and the coupe's industrial toughness. That's why it's also great to have the interior match the exterior color so nicely. The driver and passenger get high back vinyl bucket seats with a comfortable center console in-between. This is a nice reminder that the dodge super bee was based on was an all-day cruiser. The rest of the interior is fresh and clean, which makes it all feel like a 1970s time capsule. The wood paneling matches the burnt orange color quite nicely, and everything from the heat/defrost controls to the three-spoke steering wheel has the right vintage feeling. That's because within the burnt orange engine bay lays a mopar orange beast. The 440 cubic-inch v8 with the triple-deuce carb six pack is a dodge legend, so they made sure to go all-out when building this beast. The whole engine bay has a very tidy presentation so that nothing gets in the way of people seeing the massive hood-fed air grabber, and the big block that fills all the space between the fenders. And with a six-pack big block under the hood, great bodylines, and a handsome interior, this is now worthy of carrying the super bee name. Bucket Seats

The correct-spec white vinyl roof does not have a cool a name for its hue, but it looks great, and matches the factory optional bumblee stripe on the rear. That's right, this is an exceptionally popular, but very rare muscle car, that's still in its correct wild color. The squared-off bodywork with its exquisite curves, and butch simulated vents on the front doors, looks goo Tachometer✔ Bucket Seats

The scooped hood with hood pins looks aggressive all on its own, but when the sunlight hit it, there is a burgundy flake set into the raised section that clues people in that this muscle Mopar is out for blood. It's hard not to love one of the most intimidating looking muscle cars of all time in a shade of black that's shiny enough to be a mirror. The mirror-like chrome front bumper is nicely integrated into the front end that's wide enough to inhale all the lesser cars on the road Bucket Seats
